Hagley Oval takes a different name this coming weekend

Following the Canterbury Magicians successful 2022/2023 Super Smash Campaign and their Grand Final win on Saturday 11th February, Canterbury legend, Amy Satterthwaite has announced her retirement from all forms of cricket for Canterbury. Her last Super Smash appearance for the Canterbury Magicians saw her become the most capped Magicians T20 player. Her impressive T20 record to date (prior to the Grand Final match) included 297 runs (19 half centuries and 1 century) and 76 wickets.
Amy’s final home match will be when Canterbury take on Central Districts in the Hallyburton Shield Match at Hagley Oval this coming weekend.
In honour of Canterbury Legend, Amy Satterthwaite’s final home matches for The Magicians, Hagley Oval will be renamed to Satterthwaite Oval for this weekends Hallyburton Johnstone Shield matches.
