Heading to Hagley Oval tomorrow to watch Canterbury take on Central Districts in the Dream 11 Super Smash?
Here’s everything you will need to know to make your visit an enjoyable one.
First Ball

🏏 Kings vs Stag 4PM
General Admission Gates open at 11.30am via Gate A.
Gate A is located by the St Albans Cricket Club on Riccarton Ave and by the Riccarton Ave Carpark.
Hagley Oval Pavilion Club Members gate is open at 11.30am via Gate located up the driveway behind the Hadlee Pavilion. The Miles Group Lounge is also open from 11.30am for members and members guests.
To ensure quick and easy access please ensure you are entering via the appropriate gate applicable to your ticket type.
There is no general admission carparking on site. There is limited mobility carparking in the Riccarton Ave Carpark (first in first serve) and some available behind the Hadlee Pavilion (these need to be booked via Canterbury Cricket Association)
If you need a break from the cricket Food Trucks, Kidzone and Springfree Trampolines are on site for the kids with a silent disco happening next to the Fat Eddies Embankment Bar for the adults.
You can bring in your own picnics to enjoy on the embankment but don’t forget to leave any glass bottles and cups at home. No alcohol can be brought into the venue so leave that at home too. Deck chairs and umbrellas are OK but please check out the venue terms and conditions of entry to ensure they comply. These can be found at hagleyoval.co.nz along with other permitted and prohibited items.
For your safety when visiting a reminder that it is not uncommon for the cricket ball to be hit into areas where fans are. Please stay safe by keeping your eye on the ball and reminder your friends and family to do the same.
