30th November 2025. Test cricket is back at Hagley Oval, with Day 1 kicking off Tuesday, December 2, when the Blackcaps meet the West Indies. If you are coming to all or some of the Test Match, here’s everything you will need to know to make your visit with us as enjoyable as possible. Key Match Details Please note: All timings are approximate and subject to change. Play can start at 10:30am on Days 2 – 5 if time has been lost due to weather. Play can also extend to 6:30pm for a slow over rate or 7pm if weather has delayed play. Lunch and tea timings are more or less fixed unless there is a change of innings close to the scheduled break. 🎟 TICKETS Tickets are still available!Grab your general admission tickets online at tickets.nzc.nz Ticketek Box Office will be open from 8.45am by Gate B each day. 🚪 VENUE ACCESS Entry is available through the following gates: Please have your ticket ready for scanning at the gate to ensure smooth entry. 🚗 PARKING & TRANSPORT There is no public parking inside Hagley Park for this event.Spectators are encouraged to use public transport, cycling, or walking where possible. BLACKCAPS vs West Indies Next Week There’s nothing quite like the rhythm of Test cricket in Christchurch — the anticipation, the atmosphere, and the unmistakable feeling that summer is on its way. Next week, Hagley Oval once again takes centre stage as the BLACKCAPS host the West Indies in a much-anticipated Test match. Despite the weekday start and the busy pre-Christmas period, we’re expecting a healthy crowd across the five days.
