The Hot Spring Spas T20 Christchurch Black Clash in association with Heartland is back for 2021 with the now annual cricketing battle between New Zealand’s most-loved codes back in Christchurch.
The Black Clash sees New Zealand’s biggest sporting stars battle against each other in a high-intensity, hugely fun T20 cricket match under brand new flood lights with a 6:30pm start at Christchurch’s beautiful Hagley Oval on Friday January 22.
It’s Stephen Fleming’s Team Cricket against Sir Graham Henry’s Team Rugby and with the score sitting at one win each, this match will be war! Can Team Rugby defy the odds and beat Team Cricket at their own game once more?
Fleming has hand-picked another stellar line up of NZ’s biggest cricketing heroes including Daniel Vettori and World Cup hero Grant Elliott to lead the line-up for Team Cricket, while Sir Graham has called upon big guns Jordie Barrett and Israel Dagg to lead the 2021 Team Rugby along with Crusaders Coach Scott Robertson as Team Manager.
