The Canterbury Cricket Trust is delighted to announce their partnership with Lexus of Christchurch who have been granted exclusive naming rights of the Lexus of Christchurch Lounge located in the iconic Hadlee Pavilion at Hagley Oval. The partnership is an exciting opportunity for both parties and will enable continued development of the facilities at Hagley Oval to ensure the venue remains a world class facility for cricket and the Christchurch community.
Canterbury Cricket Trust Chairman Lee Robinson said “It is great progress in the development and growth of Hagley Oval as an International Cricket venue to announce Lexus of Christchurch as the initial sponsor of the Lexus of Christchurch Lounge. Since its inception for Cricket World Cup 2015 in Christchurch, Hagley Oval has become recognised as one of the most beautiful, picturesque and functional cricket ovals in the world. This was evidenced as late as March of this year when stunning views of the Pavilion, the Oval of Hagley Park, and Christchurch were beamed worldwide with the coverage of the England v New Zealand Cricket Test match held over Easter 2018.
The fact that Lexus of Christchurch, with its strong presence in the premier motor vehicle market, is now the Hadlee Pavilion lounge sponsor, reflects most appropriately the respective positions Lexus and Hagley Oval hold in the Christchurch market place and community.
