Friday 23rd January

  • 🏏 First Ball (men) – Canterbury Kings v Wellington Firebirds: 5.55pm

Sunday 25th January

  • 🚪 Gates open: 11.40am
  • 🏏 First ball (women) – Canterbury Magicians v Northern Brave (w) 12.40pm

Tickets purchased for these match days gains you entry for BOTH the Women’s and Men’s match.


Members and Guests

The Miles Group Members Lounge will be open from 1 hour before first ball for Pavilion Club members and their guests. Entry is via the Hadlee Pavilion main reception.

The Pavilion bar will be serving food and beverages throughout the day from a limited Bistro menu. Please note that Hagley Oval is a cashless venue — all purchases can be made by card only.


Public Facilities and Amenities

  • Toilets: Located behind the Embankment near Gate A and behind the outdoor bar
  • Car Parking: There is no onsite car parking available. There are a small number of mobility parks available near Gate A. These are operated on a first come first serve basis. There is paid parking available nearby including the Tū Waka-Waipapa carpark, located on Hagley Avenue.
  • Smoke and Vape Free Venue:
    Hagley Oval is proudly a smoke and vape free environment. We appreciate your support in helping us keep the precinct clean and family friendly.

Food and Drink

For the 3 match days, the following vendors will be onsite for food and beverage purchases.

Patrons are allowed to bring in sealed plastic bottles (up to 1.5 litre in size) containing non-alcoholic beverages for personal consumption. Non-alcoholic cans are allowed however they will be depressurized on entry.

Small amounts of non-commercial food intended for personal consumption is also permitted.

Safety at the Oval

Cricket is full of excitement — and the occasional flying ball!
For your safety, please keep an eye on the play at all times and remind those with you to do the same, especially children. From time to time balls can be hit into spectator areas.
