More funding to help support the CCT’s operations at Hagley Oval

How lucky are we to have the support we do!
The Lion Foundation is another funding organisation who have provided support to the Canterbury Cricket Trust with organisational expenses in 2024.
Back in February 2024, the Lion Foundation generously provided the Trust with a grant which supported our auditing expenses. This has allowed us to channel our resources into other areas to provide and maintain the facilities within the Hagley Oval precinct for the community to use.
Having facilities for the community to use and enjoy is paramount so we can provide opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in activities that they love.
Whether that involvement is walking around the Hagley Oval embankment on a crisp frosty winter’s morning, bowling some cricket balls in the Sports Centre nets or watching and being a spectator at a High School Gillette Cup match from the stand, the facilities provide opportunities for everyone to be engaged.
