2025/26 Season Launch
We’re excited to kick off the 2025/26 cricket season with a Hagley Oval Open Day on Saturday, 4 October – and you’re invited!
From 11am to 1pm, the Oval will come alive with activities for all ages. This is your chance to get behind the scenes, enjoy a family-friendly day out, and celebrate the start of another summer of cricket.

- Cricket activations on the Oval – test your skills, have a go, and soak up the atmosphere of one of New Zealand’s most iconic cricket grounds.
- Free sausage sizzle – grab a bite while you enjoy the day.
- Kids inflatables – plenty of fun for the younger ones.
- Exclusive tours – step inside the Pavilion and the Sports Centre to see where the action happens.
