Canterbury Korfball Junior Development/Under 19 Squad recently competed in the Australia Club Championships 2025 in Adelaide. The purpose was to expose the junior players to higher level competition and give them a taste of the international korfball scene. Our Canterbury U19 team really stepped up in Australia, taking on experienced players with determination and grit. Their fantastic play was a testament to their dedication and skill. Recently the Ohoka Junior Cricket Club ran a quiz night to raise funds for Hoodies for all our junior club members. The donation from the Canterbury Cricket Trust was one of the most sought after prizes on the night. The quiz night attracted 16 teams and over 100 participants on the night, leading to a great event enjoyed by all our club members.  Without the support of the Canterbury Cricket Trust we would not have been able to raise enough funds to have all our Ohoka Junior Swampies looking amazing on those cold country cricket mornings.
