2026 Over 70’s Cricket World Cup Final

Hagley Oval 5th March 2026, Hagley Oval plays host to the Final of the Over 70’s Cricket World Cup being played in Christchurch from the 17th February. The tournament will be played on grounds around Christchurch and surrounding districts and welcomes 7 visiting teams from around the world. The final will be played against the top two qualifying teams after pool play. First ball will be 10am This match is being live streamed. Polo and Hagley Corner Grounds Monday, 23rd February 2026 Played on a Monday evening at Hagley Park, the competition is the chance to get some friends or workmates together for a 90 minute game of fast and exciting cricket. Games commence at 6pm, with 8 players per team and everyone getting a bat and bowl. A soft ball is used so no protective gear is required. Hagley Oval outfield 20th February 2026, Hagley Oval welcomes Christchurch Junior Cricket Association back to Hagley Oval. Every season CJCA facilitates the opportunity for Junior Clubs to play cricket on Hagley Oval. This provides a fantastic experience for our junior players to play on the same ground as their cricket heroes inspiring them to become the next generation of legends!
