Updated Start Time for Day Two of the Test Match at Hagley Oval

Following an eventful opening day of Test cricket at Hagley Oval, we wish to advise that the start time for Day Two has been updated. The first ball will now be bowled at 10.35am, brought forward from the originally scheduled 11.00am.
This adjustment has been made to accommodate rain delays and a slow over rate during today’s play.

All other match-day details remain the same, including gate opening times, venue operations, ticketing, hospitality, and broadcast arrangements.

Day One Recap

At stumps, the BLACKCAPS reached 231/9 after 70 overs in their first innings, with bad light bringing a premature end to proceedings. The day featured a welcome highlight for Blackcaps fans as Kane Williamson marked his return to Test cricket with a composed 52, anchoring the innings through challenging conditions.
