September has been a fantastic month. The Pavilion has been officially opened and it looks truly stunning. Friday 26th September marks the end of an era and the start of an exciting new chapter with the handover of the Pavilion from a construction project to venue managers Vbase.
A special thank you needs to go to the Project Team who have dedicated many hours to creating a first class venue that will serve the Canterbury community for decades to come.

The Pavilion is Officially Opened
Hagley Oval Pavilion was officially opened on Monday 15th September at a ceremony attended by over 150 guests including Prime Minister John Key and Christchurch Mayor Lianne Dalziel.
The Pavilion is the first anchor project to be delivered in Christchurch and facilitates the return of international cricket to the region.
Lee Robinson, Chairman of the Canterbury Cricket Trust, is delighted to see the Hagley Oval Pavilion fully completed. "The Pavilion looks spectacular and I am extremely proud of the end result. We have truly developed a venue that will enhance Hagley Par and have created an iconic sporting venue. The completion marks many months and years of hard work."

Canterbury games pre Christmas are open to the public. No tickets required.
Tickets to the Boxing Day test go on sale on the 3rd November. To be assured of a ticket you can pre-register with Blackcaps Priority Ticketing at http://www.blackcaps.co.nz/priorityticketing/
